![]() Laurie transitioned into documentary film in her 50's after a 30+ year career as a psychotherapist. She created the idea for The Beauty of Aging Documentary Project out of a desire to find inspiring models of aging for herself and other women. Laurie produced and directed a documentary short, SCAT, The Story of “Scatman” John Larkin and was Associate Producer on a narrative short, PICKLED. She produced and directed Greedy for Life, a 35-minute short on Shirley & Lavada, two of the women in The Beauty of Aging project. A short film on Hedda Bolgar was recently completed and is available for viewing on the website. ![]() Lisa Thompson Morrison, Director of Photography/Producer Lisa is a producer, director, cinematographer and editor for documentaries, including “This African Life,” a feature focusing on the health and education challenges of women and children in rural Mali, West Africa and Greedy for Life. Her work has appeared on CurrentTV, National Geographic International, Fox Reality and other cable outlets. She is a graduate of the masters program of the University of Southern California School of Journalism.
